Abstract This Act lays down some amendments and addenda to the Act on foodstuffs. In particular, the present Act regulates provisions concerning import of food from another European Union member state. In such case, receiver of products of animal origin, processed vegetables and unprocessed fruits is required at least 24 hours in advance to report to relevant Regional Veterinary and Food Administration on the arrival of the consignment, its destination, the country of origin, type of food and its quantity.
