Abstract This Act specifies the scope of the Act on foodstuffs and tobacco products by stating that it does not apply to potable water. The conditions governing the supply of potable water are those laid down under the Act on public health protection. Further, this Act lays down a new definition of foodstuffs and sets forth particular obligations and requirements concerning the production and transport of certain flavouring substances.
