Abstract This Act amends the provisions established by the Seed Act by implementing certain regulations of the European Commission. In particular, this Act lays down requirements for inclusion of a variety in the national catalogues of varieties of agricultural plant species, and specifies conditions which must be fulfilled by planting material to be recognized as planting material of varieties for suitability of the denominations of varieties of agricultural plant species and vegetable species.
