Abstract This Act amends ten points of Environment Protection Act according to the Council Directive 96/82/EC on the control of major accident hazards involving dangerous substances. This Act is aimed at the prevention of major accidents which involve dangerous substances, and the limitation of their consequences for human and the environment. The operator of establishment of high risk, before making changes in the establishment, installation, industrial process or changes of type, properties or amount of stored dangerous substances which may affect danger of industrial accident, is obliged to analyze the program of the prevention of accidents, safety system and safety report.
