This Act enters into force on 1 January 2014.

Abstract

This Act lays down some provisions on management of waste batteries and accumulators. Batteries and accumulators placed on the market are subject to the provisions of the Act on waste, regardless of their shape, volume, weight, material composition or use, processing of waste batteries and waste from the processing of waste batteries and accumulators.
