Decides, in accordance with paragraph 7 (a) of Article 8 of the Convention, that hexabromobiphenyl is likely, as a result of its long-range environmental transport, to lead to significant adverse human health and environmental effects such that global action is warranted; 4. Decides furthermore, in accordance with paragraph 7 (a) of Article 8 of the Convention and paragraph 29 of decision SC-1/7 of the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention, to establish an ad hoc working group to prepare a risk management evaluation that includes an analysis of possible control measures for hexabromobiphenyl in accordance with Annex F to the Convention;5. Invites, in accordance with paragraph 7 (a) of Article 8 of the Convention, Parties and observers to submit to the Secretariat before 2 February 2007 the information specified in Annex F for hexabromobiphenyl and further information to allow refinement of the hazard assessment and the risk profile of hexabromobiphenyl.
