Abstract
Requests the Global Environment Facility to continue to work with the Secretariat of the Convention to finalize Operational Programme 14 incorporating the guidance by the Conference of the Parties as soon as possible; Also requests the Global Environment Facility to exercise any necessary flexibility in applying its criteria for access in order to ensure compatibility with the country eligibility criteria established by the Conference of the Parties in decision SC-1/9 in accordance with the specific priorities and needs of eligible countries; Further requests the Global Environment Facility to include in its regular reports to the Conference of the Parties a more indepth analysis of its financing, including cofinancing, in its persistent organic pollutants portfolio, which includes sources, mechanisms, arrangements and trends;
