Framework Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Colombia and the Government of the Hellenic Republic on economic, scientific and technological cooperation

With this Agreement, the Government of the Republic of Colombia and the Government of the Hellenic Republic have agreed to make any effort to develop and strengthen economic, scientific and technological cooperation. The fields of agriculture (including agro-industry and rural development), fishery and forestry were identified among the areas of possible cooperation. Such cooperation may take the form of among other: exchange of scientists, researchers and experts; elaboration of common research programmes; organization of training programmes in fields of mutual interest; the provision of technical and scientific expertise; convening of symposia and meetings; exchange of information and data; provision of equipment and material necessary for the implementation of specific projects; grant of scholarships for specialisation. With the aim of ensuring the implementation of this Agreement and its normal development, a Joint Committee is hereby established.
