Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Spain on cooperation in the sphere of environmental protection

The purpose of the present Agreement shall be cooperation in the solution of environmental problems, rational management of natural resources, negative environmental impact assessment and the arrangements for the prevention thereof. The Parties shall cooperate in the following fields: (a) assessment of environmental emergencies originating from economic activity; (b) prevention of air pollution; (c) ecosystem preservation; (d) exchange of recycling technologies; and (e) exchange of scientists and experts.
