Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Mongolia on cooperation in the sphere of utilization of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes

The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following fields: (a) nuclear energy, including technical substantiation for the construction of nuclear power plants, supply of equipment and materials; (b) extraction and processing of uranium ore; (c) processing, disposal and burial of radioactive waste; (d) nuclear and radiation safety; and (e) safe use of nuclear energy. The Agreement shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) training of scientific and technical personnel; (b) exchange of experts; (c) consultations; (d) research; and (f) exchange of information.
