Its thesis suggests that the enactment of the objects clause heralds a new era of publicc law jurisprudence. That is, the objects clause is more than a tool designed to meet the directives of the Acts Interpretation Acts but rather is the linchpin of a new statutory vehicle for the encapsulation of statements of policy and strategy in legislation
