Rather than a global regulatory apparatus, this initiative seeks ultimately to stabilise greenhouse concentrations by speeding the time benign energy becomes cheaper than conventional fossil fuels. Such a South-North partnership could take many forms. These might include a dramatic reorientation of industrialised country inventstment in energy R&D to focus more on renewables and energy efficienc, public- private collaboration to enhance near-competitive renewable technologies, and the use of multilateral and bilateral development funds to spur private investment in such initiatives in developing countries D'autres références Traité Convention-cadre des Nations Unies sur les changements climatiques Traité | Multilatéral | New York | Jui 22, 1992 Mot clé: Equité intergénérationnelle, Éducation, Collecte de données/déclarations, Transfert de technologie, Participation du public, Couche d'ozone, Principe de précaution, Inventaire, EIA, Accès-à-l'information, Règlement des différends, Changement de climat, Monitorage, Recherche, Organisation internationale, Développement durable, Émissions Source: IUCN (ID: TRE-001147)
