Résumé

This Act provides for the establishment of the Zimbabwe Gender Commission as a body corporate and provides with respect to its functions and administration and related matters. The functions of the Commission shall include the carrying out of investigation under this Act and the annual convening of a Gender Forum. The Commission may investigate any systemic barrier prejudicial to gender equality, gender equity or gender mainstreaming in a specific named sphere of activity or named sector of the society or economy. The Commission shall report to the Minister of Women's Affairs, Gender and Community Development.
