Section 47 of the Forest Act states that the district manager or regional manager, may change the boundary or area of the woodlot licence if permitted by the regulations and in accordance with the regulations, and with the consent of the holder of a woodlot licence. Accordingly part 1 and 2 of this Regulation set's out the specific requirements that must be complied with in doing so. Section 46 of the Forest Act deals with timber processing facilities. This Regulation specifies in detail the relevant amount of production capacity and other requirements that must be met in respect of timber processing facilities.
