Résumé This Act lays down provisions on the permits for landing any goods, animals or things imported into or exported from Tonga; wharfage dues to be paid at time of entry; order of any officer of the Marine and Ports or Customs or police officer to leave the wharf; storage rates to be levied; berth dues chargeable on vessel lying alongside wharf; vessels not permitted to go alongside wharf except with permission of harbour master; and proceedings in respect of offences and penalties. Schedule A enumarates wharfage dues for the goods, animals or things which are imported into or exported from Tonga, such as bananas, livestock, horse, sheep, pig, goat, and watermelons.
