Résumé This Act, consisting of 42 sections divided into seven Parts, concerns the protection of the Northern Territory from the impact of weeds. It contains provisions on declared and potential weeds (Part 2), the management of weeds (Part 3), the establishment and operation of Weed advisory committees (Part 4), quarantine and cleaning areas (Part 5), weed management officers (Part 6) and on offences and penalties under the Act.
