Résumé The purposes of this Plan, consisting of 96 sections divided into 13 Parts and completed by 15 Schedules, are to perform the following activities: (a) define the availability of water to which this plan applies; (b) provide a framework for sustainably managing water to which this plan applies; (c) identify priorities and mechanisms for dealing with the future water requirements in the plan area; (d) provide a framework for managing water allocations; and (e) provide a framework for reversing, where practicable, the degradation of natural ecosystems caused by the taking of, or interference with, water to which this plan applies.
