Résumé The object of this Act, consisting of 24 sections divided into seven Parts and completed by one Schedule, is to adopt in the Territory a uniform national approach to the regulation of water efficiency labelling and standards. This Act (a) applies the Commonwealth water efficiency laws as a law of the Territory; and (b) makes provision to enable the Commonwealth water efficiency laws and the applied provisions to be administered on a uniform basis by the Commonwealth as if they constituted a single law of the Commonwealth. The Act is divided as follows: Preliminary (Part 1); Applied provisions (Part 2); Functions under applied provisions (Part 3); Offences (Part 4); Administrative laws (Part 5); Miscellaneous (Part 6); Repeal and transitional (Part 7).
