Résumé

This Regulation comprises 24 articles. Article 3 prohibits draining waste and waste liquids into the public sewage stream (the Water Authority shall issue instructions to specify materials, liquids, and waste to which the prohibition stipulated in this Article applies). In case of violation of this Article, the Authority may (i) close the duct to prevent the discharge of these fluids; (ii) assign the owner or tenant of the property to make an appropriate technique to treat the prohibited materials before discharging them into the public sewage stream so that they conform to the required instructions and specifications; (iii) assign the owner of the property or his tenant to pay additional fees to cover the expenses incurred by the Authority in the purification process. The Authority has the right to subject all waste and liquids flowing in any private or public stream from time to time to an approved laboratory test (art.5). Draining any liquid waste or polluted or ordinary water into water sources or any natural stream requires written approval from the Water Authority concerning the permissibility of its disposal (art.6).
