Regulation No. 4 to these Regulations shall enter into force on 27 September 2011. Résumé These Regulations may be cited as the Waste (Batteries and Accumulators) (Amendment) Regulations of 2012 and shall be read as one with the Solid and Hazardous Waste (Batteries and Accumulators) Regulations of 2009 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Regulations"). The principal Regulations and the present Regulations shall be read as one and will be referred to as the Waste (Batteries and Accumulators) Regulations of 2009-2012. The present Regulations lay down certain amendments to the principal regulations, more specifically: Regulation 1 to the principal regulations is hereby replaced: Regulations of 2009 shall be renamed as the Waste (Batteries and Accumulators) Regulations of 2009. Certain definitions are replaced in Regulation 2. In Regulation 8, paragraph (1) is hereby replaced (minor wording amendment). In Regulation 11 (sub-paragraph (b) to paragraph (1) is replaced. In Regulation 17 (paragraph (2) is replaced. In Regulation 22, a new paragraph (4) is hereby added.
