In particular, the purpose of the Law - on the basis of the polluter pays principle - is to create measures to prevent and remediate environmental damage. The Law applies to protected species and natural habitats and to any imminent threat of such damage caused by: 1) activities listed in Annex 1; 2) other professional activities if the operator has acted intentionally or negligently.
