Veterinary and sanitary requirements No. 13-8-01/3-5 regarding import to the Russian Federation of animal feed of vegetable origin (forage grain, soy beans, tapioca and peanut and soy blocs).

Résumé

Animal feed of vegetable origin is admitted to the territory of the Russian Federation on condition that they originate and has been dispatched from infectious animal disease free administrative territories, including the absence for the last 3 years of African pig plague on the territory of the exporting country and the absence for the last 12 months of foot and mouth disease, cattle plague, plague of small ruminants, African horse plague on administrative territories (state, province, area, district, etc.). Supplied forage grain, soybeans, tapioca and peanut and soy blocs must not be toxic for animals. The exporting country must confirm that in the supplied lot the presence of grain with the symptoms of fusarios doesn't exceed 1% while the presence of heavy metals, mycotoxins and pesticides doesn't exceed the level fixed by the international requirements and norms approved in the Russian Federation. Animal feed must not contain raw stuff produced with the use of genetic engineering or genetically modified sources. Package and packing material must be disposable. The compliance with the requirements established by the present Regulation must be confirmed by the following certificates: 1) Veterinary certificate signed by state veterinary inspector of the exporting country that certifies the absence on the given territory (country, state, province, etc.) of the specified infectious diseases. 2) Quality certificate issued by the authorized control institution (inspection, laboratory, etc.) that certifies that the contents of heavy metals, mycotoxins, pesticides and summary beta activity don't exceed the fixed level. Both the certificates must be composed in the language of the country of origin and in Russian. Dispatch of animal feed and feed additives to the Russian Federation is possible only after the authorization issued to the importer by Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
