Raw materials of animal origin must originate from farms and administrative territories free of infectious animal disease, including Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE), African swine fever, African horse fever, foot-and-mouth disease and anthrax. Skin and fur-based raw materials shall be distinctly sorted out and marked. Conservation methods shall comply with international requirements and standards, and must ensure the veterinary and sanitary safety of the exported commodities.
