Résumé This Act, consisting of 102 articles, establishes all requirements related to becoming a veterinarian through passing a national examination of the veterinarian and pay the fee specified by a Cabinet Order in consideration of the actual cost, and obtain a license from the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The veterinarian shall contribute to the improvement of public health by improving the health of animals and the development of the livestock industry by taking care of domestic animals and providing guidance on health and other veterinary matters. The National Veterinary Examination is conducted on veterinary medicine necessary for the care of domestic animals and public health knowledge and skills necessary for veterinarians. The Veterinary Council shall conduct the Veterinary National Examination and Preliminary Veterinary Examination at least once a year under the supervision of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The Act establishes general rules (Articles 1 and 2); Licensing (Articles 3-9); Examinations (Articles 10-16); Business (Articles 17-23); Veterinary Council (Articles 24-26); Penalties (Articles 27-29).
