Résumé The present Regulation provides for the implementation of the Vegetable Sales (Alberta) Act. The aforementioned Regulation applies to vegetables grown and to be sold in Alberta. The main tenet of the Regulation is that no person shall a) transport or pack vegetables to be sold, or b) advertise, sell, offer for sale or have in his possession for sale any vegetables unless they meet the standards prescribed by the Ministerial Regulation for vegetables. As to packaging and marking, it should be noted that a) vegetables have to be packed in a sanitary manner, b) the packaging willl have to comply with the requirements of the Ministerial Regulation, and c) the package or a tag attached to the package is marked in accordance with this Regulation.
