Mot clé Changement de climat Risques Qualité de l'air/pollution de l'air Collecte de données/déclarations Institution Lutte contre la pollution Aire géographique Afrique, Afrique Orientale, Nations en développement sans littoral, Pays les moins avances Résumé This Act establishes the Uganda National Meteorological Authority as a body corporate and provides with respect to its administration, internal organizations, functions and powers, etc. The Authority shall, among other things, establish and maintain systems for the rapid exchange of meteorological and related information, establish networks of stations for taking, recording and transmitting meteorological observations as well as hydrological and other geophysical observations related to meteorology, provide the necessary data essential for environmental impact assessment, participate in the review, formulation, and implementation of weather and climate policies and programmes and assist government to meet its international obligations in conventions and other international agreements related to weather, climate and climate change.
