It provides in paragraph 1 for a new definition of an approved veterinary surgeon, who may carry out official tests for tuberculosis on animals, and amends the definition of “authorised officer” and “official test”. A new paragraph (1A) provides conditions for the approval of such approved veterinary surgeons, whilst paragraph 5, which prohibits movement of animals during testing and confirms when an official test can be considered to have ended, is amended.
