Résumé This Law regulates management of chemicals and pesticides used in agriculture for plant cultivation and it shall be applicable to registration, manufacturing, import, trade, storage and use thereof. The Act consists of five Chapters divided into 20 Articles: (1) general provisions; (2) requirements for toxic substances management; (3) duties of the officials in charge of toxic substances; (4) toxic substances control and expertise; (5) conclusive provisions. Supply of the potentially toxic substances shall be authorized after the classification thereof. Supply, purchase, storage and use of toxic substances shall be restricted, retail trade thereof shall be prohibited and labelling shall not be striking and highly coloured.
