The Authority shall be controlled by a board. The functions of the Authority shall be principally to promote Zimbabwe as a destination for tourists, and to promote the tourist industry in overseas, regional and domestic markets (sect. 5). In the performance of the Authority’s functions, the Board shall have regard to the environmental, social and physical impact to any activity or undertaking referred to above of or in the First Schedule.
