Résumé The present Regulations enact section 21 of the Territorial Lands (Yukon) Act. The Regulation applies to the cutting and removal of timber on territorial lands. Section 5 establishes that a person who wishes to obtain a permit for the cutting of timber on territorial lands shall submit to the Minister an application that: a) describes the applicant’s knowledge of environmental protection and conservation measures related to local timber harvesting conditions; b) describes the applicant’s experience in the forest industry; c) evidences the applicant’s capacity to harvest the amount of timber applied for; and d) lists any previous permits held by the applicant.
