The Regulations provide for issuing permits concerning bottled water production, sachet water production, import permit. Matters covered by the Regulations concern: powers of the Water Advisory Committee, definition of standards for drinking water, approval of sources of all bulk drinking water, process of treatment of water and respect of standards, plants for bottling or filling sachets and respect of public health, packaging and labelling requirements, sanitation measures, record keeping, offences and penalties.
