These are substances which deplete the ozone layer. In particular, the production and the placing on the market of the substances referred to in regulations 5 and 6 shall be prohibited. Further provisions concern the importation and exportation of controlled substances as well as related authorizations and licences. Regulation 16 applies to the recovery of used controlled substances. The competent authority shall carry out inspections and shall also conduct random checks on imports of controlled substances.
