The Guam Environmental Protection Agency shall develop and administer a underground storage tank program for Guam, adopt Rules and Regulations, and carry out other duties set out in section 4. New storage tanks shall be notified to the Agency in accordance with section 5. Section 6 prescribes standards for new tanks. The Hazardous Substance Emergency Response and Remedial Action Fund is established under section 9. The Fund shall be managed by the Administrator of the Guam Environmental Protection Agency. Section 13 prescribes permit requirements for the use of storage tanks. One of the objectives of the above measures is the prevention of pollution of groundwater.
