Résumé

This Act amends the Stock Theft Act of 1990: by inserting a definition of “Criminal Procedure Act”; by specifying penalties for offences that relate to stock other than poultry; by providing for the application of section 297 (4) of the Criminal Procedure Act with respect to persons that have reached the age of eighteen; by redefining the jurisdiction of Magistrates’ Courts; and compensation for damage to, or loss, of stock to be paid by a person convicted of an offence to the person who as sustained the damage or loss.
