Résumé

This Act, consisting of 66 sections divided into six Parts and completed by one Schedule, concerns the use of medicines for stock and other animals to protect their health and the environment. For the purpose of administration of the Act, a Stock Medicines Board is established and regulated. The Act is divided into the following Parts: Preliminary (1); Registration of stock medicines (2); Permits and other authorisations (3); Stock Medicines Board (4); Control of stock medicines (5) and General (6). The Act is completed by the Schedule: Savings and transitional provisions.
