It was presented and cited in Law 12.187 of 29 December 2009, and made clear the need for government and society, especially the economic sectors, to respond to their respective emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG). This sectorial plan represents an important subsidy for the performance of public power and society in the planning, implementation and monitoring of policies aimed at reducing GHG emissions.
