Mot clé Pollution de la mer Pollution par les hydrocarbures Inspection Aire géographique Îles de l'Océan Atlantique, Europe, Europe et Asie Centrale, Pays de l'Union Européenne, Atlantique Nord, Atlantique du Nord-Est, Europe du Nord Résumé These Regulations provide for amendments to the principal Regulations of 1994 by adding a regulation relative to port state control on operational requirements, i.e. inspection by an officer of the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources duly authorized of ships that are registered in another state that is a Party to the the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL), when it is in a port within the jurisdiction of the State. If, consequent on an inspection of a ship by an officer it is confirmed that the master or crew are not familiar with the shipboard procedures as set out in the principal Regulations, the Minister shall take such steps that will ensure that the ship shall not sail from the port until such time as the master or crew or, as the case may be, both the master and crew have become familiar with those procedures.
