The Law provides for defining environmental impact assessment, and paying attention to the results of the environmental assessment. The text consists of 8 articles as follows: Purpose and scope of the law (1); Definitions (2); Obligation to carry out an environmental assessment (3); Procedure, application of federal law (4); Landscape planning (5); Competent Authorities (6); Transitional Provisions (7); and Appendixes (8).
