Résumé The Port Authority is constituted as a body corporate. The Authority shall appoint a Port Manager (sect. 13). The Authority has been granted, inter alia, the power to: Regulate restriction and control of pollution in the port area; to regulate the times, paces, order and mode of shipping, unshipping, loading, warehousing, storing and depositing of goods; to regulate the licensing of shipping agents, landing agents, customs brokers and other persons engaged in or performing any service in connection with the port; to classify dangerous goods and to regulate landing, loading and discharging of dangerous goods; to regulate the inspection of licensing, registration or certification of vessels.
