These Rules enter into force on 1 June 2005.
Résumé

The present Rules are formulated in order to regulate the certification of organic products and ensure the compliance between the procedures for certification and the basic requirements of administration. Certification procedures are described in detail in Rule 4. Rule 5 deals with matters related to post-certification management. A certification institution shall take effective measures for the management of entities, individuals or products that have acquired the certification and it shall carry out an examination without any notice so as to ensure the consistency of meeting the requirements of certification. Rules 6 and 7 establish certificates, marks and signs of certifications and charges for certification.
