The Resolution requires CPCs to ensure that vessels flying their flag observes rules of action in case an observer dies, is missing or presumed fallen overboard or there is reasonable evidence that an observer has been assaulted, intimidated, threatened, or harassed such that their health or safety is endangered. If any of these events occur, port CPCs shall facilitate entry of the fishing vessel to allow disembarkation of the observer and, to the extent possible, assist in any investigations if so requested by the flag CPC. The Resolution also concerns international cooperation in investigations. Texte intégral Anglais Site web www.iattc.org
