It consists of 7 articles establishing the following objectives to be satisfied in order to perform the management of the Region of Algarve: a) territorial sustainable exploitation; b) define a strategy for the intra-regional promotion (in particular regional transports); c) define an adequate strategy to the territorial diversity; d) enforce a regional policy for the development of this sector (in particular: turism, agriculture, transports, urban lands and environmental protection; e) tourism development; f) urban land sustainable explotation within coastal areas; g) protect ecologically sensible areas and natural resources; h) protect natural habitat, wild fauna and flora, according to Decree-Law No. 140/99 of 24 April; i) define rural areas according to protected and agro-florestry areas; j) draw-up a study on Algarvian management plan; etc. Texte intégral Portugais Références - Législation Amende Decree No. 11/91 regulating the Regional Management Plan for Algarve (PROT-Algarve).
