Résumé Comprising 14 articles, this Resolution is designed to establish criteria for accrediting energy efficiency service companies as specialized entities dedicated to studying, monitoring, and executing energy efficiency projects for clients. It also aims to organize their operations, enhancing the delivery of top-tier services to subscribers. Accreditation is restricted to energy efficiency service companies authorized by the Authority to operate in the electricity sector. The Resolution indicates two categories of accreditation (i) Full accreditation, awarded by the Authority to energy efficiency service companies with successful energy performance contracting (EPC) projects, meeting all requirements outlined in this decision; (ii) Provisional accreditation which is a temporary approval from the Authority for energy efficiency service companies lacking sufficient qualifying energy performance contract (EPC) projects. The process mandates the Authority to assess accreditation applications, ensuring compliance with all requirements. Upon approval, the Authority issues accreditation certificates, and the company names are duly registered. Article 9 addresses instances where the Authority may revoke or temporarily suspend the accreditation of energy efficiency service companies based on its discretion and the relevant circumstances.
