It is composed of 4 articles. Article 1 deals with the delimitation of boundaries of Sadd Algheida Lake. Articles 2 to 4 prohibit all housing, industrial, tourist and agricultural activities into it’s boundaries in order to protect it against pollution in particular: the use of sewage water for irrigation; construction and building; collection of refuses and wastes; random use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers; establishment of stone quarries, cemeteries, carburant stations, oil tanks and stations for the treatment of sewage water.
