Résumé The Resolution regulates taking samples from food for determining mycotoxins and its assessment. It consists of 18 articles: Purpose and scope of application (1); Definition of terms (2); General provisions (3); Taking samples from cereals and its products (4); Taking samples from dried fruit, including raisins but except for dried figs (5); Taking samples from dried figs, peanuts and nuts (6); Taking samples from spices (7); Taking samples from dairy and formula infant foods (8); Taking samples from coffee, coffee products, liquorice roots and liquorice extract (9); Taking samples from fruit juice, including grape juice, cider and wine (10); Taking samples from thick products made of apples (11); Taking samples from infant food made of cereals (12); Taking samples from plant oil (13); Taking samples from a very large batch which cannot be separated (14); Taking samples from supplements made of rice (15); Methods for preparing samples and assessment for state control of mycotoxins (16); Requirements and methods for laboratory assessment (17); and Assessment of measurement errors and restoration calculations (18). The Resolution also includes annexes providing further standards in taking samples from various types of batches and specific types of food. According to the document, the rules are to be used during state control measures.
