Résumé This Resolution regulates the import of live cattle in Lebanon from foreign countries. It allows agricultural companies, farms and importers registered at the Directorate of Livestock to import cows, sheep, goats, camels or pigs from other countries. The Director of Livestock, the Head of the Import Export Control and Veterinary Quarantine and the Head of the Animal Health Department under the supervision of the Directorate General of Agriculture will examine the applications for the registration of importers. The applicants have to present an attestation identifying the country of origin as an allowed country for the import or transit of the consignment and have to respect the standards of the veterinary quarantine of the country of origin or of Lebanon.
