Résumé This Resolution approves the Social Action Policy (PAS) and the Implementation Strategy. This Policy aims to promote inclusive social development, through an integrated intervention of all stakeholders in the social protection area. Its general objective aims at establishing intervention guidelines in the area of social action and the main vectors for integration and social development. The Policy vision aims at reaching an inclusive society, solidarity, promoter of social welfare and active participation of all citizens in the development process, as a social right. It also focuses on the context and challenges of social development in Mozambique. Specific objectives aim to: promote and/or provide psycho-social support and assistance to people, groups and communities in situations of poverty and vulnerability; promote social assistance to rural and urban people, families and social groups living in poverty and vulnerability, victims of natural disasters; promote access to basic social services (health, education, income generation, housing, sanitation, among others) to people, families and social groups in poverty and vulnerability conditions; promote the development of guidance instruments for social and environmental impact studies and related implementation plans at all stages of the development projects; promote gender equality and equity in social assistance programmes and access to basic social services.
