Résumé The aim of this Resolution is to protect marine life by regulating the extraction of marine sand. The present Resolution is composed of 8 articles. Articles 1 and 2 prohibit digging and filling up operations as well as extraction of marine sand in fishing areas without a previous licence. Articles 3-8 deal with the following: requirements and conditions for obtaining a licence; registration of equipment used for the aforementioned operations; requirements and conditions for the applicant; documents and certificates to be provided with the application; and approval or rejection of the licence.
