Résumé This Resolution is composed of 3 articles. Article 1 provides for quarantine measures to be taken for imported living animals, as follows: (a) importers of living animals shall pay the fees and costs of the laboratory analysis before the arrival of the animals; (b) animals shall be put under quarantine for the necessary period; (c) animals shall be vaccinated against existing diseases in Egypt, such as the foot and mouth disease, etc.; and, (d) animals may be released after the analysis results have confirmed that they are free from any disease.
