Article 1 provides an allowance to farms, which use artificial fecundation, to import stallion frozen semen. Only farms registered at the Ministry of Agriculture may import stallion frozen semen (art. 2). These farms shall be subject to veterinary technical control by the Reproduction and Animal Breeding Department- Animal Resource Administration (art. 3). The farm must inform the Ministry of Agriculture before the importation by providing the necessary information about the kind of semen, country of origin, farm of stallions and their technical requirements (art. 5).
